Hello World
I've been meaning to write for a while now. Not because I have something important to say, or because I want to build an audience, or because someone told me it was good for my personal brand. I'm writing because I think too much and I'd rather have a place to put it.
This is that place.
I'm Ananya. I'm a developer by training, somewhere between engineering and product by day, and relentlessly curious about everything else the rest of the time. I think about businesses and why some of them work and most of them don't. I think about products, markets, human psychology, global politics, traditions that survive centuries and trends that don't survive a year. I find all of it interesting and I've never been able to stay in one lane.
This blog is a record. Something I can look back on years from now and see what I was thinking, what I got right, what I got completely wrong. If you find your way here and something resonates — great. If not, that's fine too. I'm not writing for followers or feedback or anything in particular. I'm writing the way some people keep a journal, except mine is public and covers everything from business strategy to things I noticed on a walk.
No particular schedule. No particular beat. Just thinking, written down.
